Happy Thursday!
Excitement filled the air this week as our founder, Raymond, paid us a surprise visit after enjoying a rejuvenating facial at my mum Leticia's salon, 'Gasping Beauty' which is conveniently situated next to our office. Raymond’s impromptu appearance brought not only his insightful suggestions but also a fantastic idea to collaborate with Gasping Beauty for special promotions.
One standout proposal from Raymond, is the introduction of 'Massage Mondays,' offering our team a 79% discount on any massage. Recognising the importance of mental health in our bustling work environment, this initiative aims to provide a stress relieving outlet for the hardworking team. I'm personally enthusiastic about this and plan to create promotional materials to spread the word around the office. Not everyone shared the same enthusiasm for the idea, with Douglas notably underwhelmed. Ironically, he's the one who stands to gain the most from a well deserved rub.
Despite the team's attempt to move past the recent mysterious cupcake, penguin cufflink and sinister note incident, a sense of unease still lingers. Polly believes she was being followed on her way to the train station after work the other day, this prompted her to carry a grout applicator as an improvised defence tool.
Adding to the tension, Josh, whose desk is stationed next to the window, believes someone is watching the office. He claims to have seen the same person, staring into the office and they walk past multiple times a day. Strangely, he notes that the person even has a different dog, and is wearing a different outfit, each time.
While it might be nothing more than heightened sensitivity, I'm hopeful that tranquillity
will soon return to our workplace. In the meantime, we'll embrace Raymond's wonderful massage Monday suggestion, and continue to foster a supportive and stress-free
environment for the entire team.
