In search of closure

And a lesson in office safety

Greetings!

As we embark on this week's journey at Erect & Tile, anticipation hangs thick in the air as we prepared for a climactic showdown in our quest to unmask the elusive cupcake culprit who's been tormenting the office. With tensions running high and suspicions swirling, we hoped that a carefully orchestrated confrontation would at last bring the perpetrator to justice.

Josh, Polly, and I, devised a cunning plan to confront the team and hopefully extract some answers. As we gathered in the main meeting room, preparing to introduce new work experience student, Beth, to the world of Erect & Tile, Polly made a dramatic gesture, placing the cupcakes in the centre of the boardroom table. With all eyes on us, I seized the moment to announce the discovery of the cupcakes in the kitchen cupboard, challenging anyone to step forward and explain why they had been hidden there.

Josh, ever the astute observer (and well own in the community for his extraordinary ability to communicate with the spirit world), scanned the room for any signs of guilt or discomfort. The tension in the air grew as the team remained silent, seemingly frozen in disbelief and confusion.

Just as Ianticipated a breakthrough, our attention was abruptly diverted by the sudden entrance of Gretal, looking visibly flustered. "You must come quick," she exclaimed, urgency lacing her words. Without hesitation, we rose from our seats, eager to know the cause of her distress.

As we all rushed towards the meeting room door, in a comedic twist of fate, Donna
stumbled gripping on to Douglas's trousers to break her fall, as they were pulled from his body, he was momentarily exposed, his silk leopard print underpants on full display!

While the incident brought laughter , it also served as a reminder of the importance of workplace safety. Donna's stumble highlighted the potential dangers lurking in our office environment, particularly uneven surfaces. Fortunately, relief is on the horizon as we eagerly await the arrival of our new Health & Safety Manager, Emily Ramsden, who will undoubtedly implement measures to enhance safety both on our sites and in the office. With our team expanding, it's great to witness the growth and evolution of Erect & Tile, as we continue to strive towards a safer and more vibrant workplace for all.

Find out next week what awaits us beyond the confines of the meeting room door. Would Gretal's interruption offer a clue to the cupcake mystery, or would it lead us down an entirely different path? The plot thickens at Erect & Tile, where every twist and turn brings us further away from unravelling the truth.

Until next week, Rebecca x
